There are times when you just need to escape and just hide into a quiet place and were better to and go to the little village of Kessingland on the east coast of England. It's tranquil scenery and ocean views surely take your breath away. And what more than a perfect place for to come up for a come back album.
Unatural Love - Singer and Acoustic Guitarist Lilly Black, relocated to a rented holiday cottage in the English countryside in order to concentrate on nothing but writing and recording demo's for her next big album foe 2010.
''It was like no one knew me'' Lilly tells Indie & Rock.
''It's so isolated out there. I've always been someone who works without distractions. I had a studio set up in Manchester, but it was hard to write with everything buzzing around me, so I thought it would be better if I just went somewhere were it was peaceful and just focus on my new album''
''There was nothing else better to do anyway'' she adds.
'' I really needed to get away; I had troubles trying to write new material but was having so many troubles, so I decided to there. And it's really done me good and the album, this is going to be big''
Lilly said that her family have been the biggest inspiration for writing the album. '' Being so far from home, did hit me the first night as I was basically alone''
'' I was writing all the time and since my last album (Electrifying, 2007) my style has had a slight change, but i don't want to give too much away''
'' I hope with this new album and can win a lot more fans than I did with my first and my present fans to love me more''
''I was thinking about using a different producer'' Lilly says.
'' But I was happy about my first album. I always thought it was a good first album and if I went with someone else, I'd always be comparing it to that. Amelia knows exactly what I'm like and I think it's only going to sound even better this time''
With this weeks before she leaves the sleepy English country side for the bright lights of New York, Unatural Love is already looking at a very hectic year. '' I'm going to go and do a few gigs in America in the summer.'' She excitingly squeals.'' Then I come back to do Glastonbury Festival and Latitude Festival in August. Then I'll be doing my world tour, I can not wait to go to Hong Kong It's my Favourite place and the people there are so friendly''
Unatural Love's album come's out in the summer with a special Gig to celebrate the success of the album and to welcome her back to the scene of fame. '' I can't wait to hear about what other people think about my new album, personally I think it's the one yet''
'' It's going to be a tiring year but with everyone there I can do it and then maybe after I'll take a vacation to some were I can put my feet up''
We asked her what made her decide to make this album '' Well I was getting bored and just thought it was time to show my face again and not be a ' one hit wonder' as they say. I aim to be a successful person and be a goof role model for other young even older people'' also she added '' plus i get the attention, it's always a big thing when your releasing an album and after that your world changes, it's such a hype for me to do this kinda thing and trying to be a successful artist is hard these days''
After the interview Lilly went off to out studio and had a real good time having a photo shoot. ''I always taken a liking to modelling but never thought I was right for it myself, but it's a fun thing to do and working with the photographer was great and helpful''
